Mercat Ibèric de Sant Miquel d'Alcanar
(Last weekend in September)  
The origins of Alcanar can be found at the ancient Iberian settlement of Moleta del Remei (7th-2nd centuries BC), s.VII - II aC), and this cultural and historical legacy is still alive today. Every year, during the Feast of Saint Michael, the streets of the historical centre fill up with crafts stalls and displays that commemorate its brilliant Iberian past. Also of note are the guided visits to Casa O'Connor, the Iberian culture interpretation centre in Alcanar, and to the archaeological site at Moleta del Remei.

Fira d'Arts i Oficis d'arrel tradicional Raure (Ginestar)
(Last Sunday in September)
Lace makers, potters and craftsmen of all kinds come together in a fair known for its demonstrations of ancient crafts and wagon rides through the village of Ginestar. It's a day to learn about the region's traditional crafts and professions that are still present here despite the passage of time.

Fira de la Clementina de Bítem (Tortosa)
(Third week of October)
Every year, Bítem EMD, one of the largest citrus fruit growing towns in the region, hosts the Clementine Fair, celebrating the most popular variety of tangerine in the area. The event brings together distributors, retailers and various organizations that set up their stands in the exhibition hall. Recreational activities also have their place and include a dessert making contest, jota dancing and concerts.

Festes Majors del Remei | Quinquennals d'Alcanar
(First two weeks of October)
If you're in Alcanar in the years ending in 4 and 9, you're in luck. At this time, the town's annual fiesta mayor in honour of the Virgin of the Remedies, becomes a long awaited festival: the Quinquennals. This traditional festival enjoys the status of a fiesta of national interest in Catalonia and is very important to the people of the town. Floral decorations and colorful sawdust mosaics decorate the streets and accompany the pilgrims during their procession to the chapel of the Virgin of Remedies, one of the biggest events in the festivities, which consist of days full of revelry and popular activities for all ages.

Fira del Rovelló (Els Reguers - Tortosa)
(End of October - beginning of November)
This fair is the best place to buy wild mushrooms from the Ports de Beseit park. In this municipality, located in the foothills of the Ports, you can also enjoy good cuisine featuring this typical Autumn product, accompanied by good grilled meats. During the fair, there are produce stands and exhibitions by the llatadores Reguers, who practice basket weaving, one of the ancient crafts that are still preserved in the town, as well as audiovisual projections and book presentations. Festival de música Felip Pedrell de Tortosa
(October and November)
With almost 30 years of history, the Felip Pedrell Music Festival is one of the region's main classical music events. Each year, a different orchestra is invited to take part in the course, which is also attended by around 50 young artists. The Teatre Auditori Felip Pedrell is the main venue, but concerts are also held all over the city of Tortosa.

Festes de La sega (Deltebre and l'Ampolla) 
(End of September)
While the planting festival in June is quite an event, this harvest festival is equally important. You will have the opportunity to take part in some of the traditional jobs associated with the rice harvest in a festival that is representative of traditional way of life in Deltebre and l'Ampolla. 

Festa de l'Aiguardent de Prat de Comte
(Second weekend in October)
During the Festa de l'Aiguardent, the whole village opens its doors to the samples and stills of wineries and cooperatives of the Terra Alta region. The distillation of craft spirits and wine tasting are the most characteristic features of a festival  marked by a great festive atmosphere.

Fira Agrícola, Ramadera i Industrial de Móra la Nova
(Last weekend of October)
One of the oldest fairs in the Terres de l'Ebre region, with more than 180 editions behind it, this is a multisectorial event that brings together professionals from all over the province, who come to see all the new developments in agricultural and industrial machinery for the primary sector. There's also a children's play area to make your visit even more interesting.

Festa del Vi in Gandesa
(First weekend in November)
This is a showcase for the region's wine and an unmissable event for wine buffs. Among the highlights of the Wine Festival are the Nights of White Garnache wines, evenings dedicated to the most iconic variety of grape in the region, held in the fantastic setting of the modernista-style cellar in Gandesa. This is a great event for anyone wishing to taste the essence of the Terra Alta.
