Dave Sumner (aka Function) és un dels grans herois del techno underground. És membre del col·lectiu Sandwell District, ha estat resident del Berghain, publica a Ostgut i és el capo de Infrastructure New York. El 2013 treure l’àlbum seminal Incubation.
